LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) –The static is gone and now ESPN Sports Radio is taking control of both sides of the dial.

Country programming was taken off the air on 103.3 FM about a year ago.

Yates Media said the frequency's owner, Radio License Incorporated has resolved a shareholders dispute.

Now, a partnership agreement between Yates Media and Radio License Inc. will bring programming back to 103.3.

ESPN Radio 1260 AM will now be simulcast on FM as well.

Yates Media said in an interview with KTRE last year that Radio License, Inc. stopped making payments to operate KJCS 103, which is why the station went silent.
