12-29-2010 Arrest 400 Block of East Frank Avenue
At approximately 11:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, a Lufkin Police Department officer arrested Luis Antonio Martinez (White / Male / 18 / Lufkin) in the 400 block of East Frank Avenue in Lufkin for the offenses of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, a Class A Misdemeanor, and No Driver's License, a Class C Misdemeanor. According to the arrest report, an officer witnessed Luis Antonio Martinez commit a traffic violation, failing to signal a lane change, and conducted a traffic stop of the tan 1999 GMC Yukon driven by Mr. Martinez. Once stopped, the officer learned that Mr. Martinez does not have a driver's license. The officer took Mr. Martinez into custody for the driver's license violation and found him in possession of metal knuckles, a prohibited weapon under Texas Penal Code §46.05. Luis Antonio Martinez was booked into Angelina County Jail for the offenses of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and No Driver's License.
12-29-2010 Theft/B 300 Block Sunset Boulevard
On Wednesday, December 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. that date an unidentified suspect stole a bicycle from outside of the complainant's residence, located in the 300 block of Sunset Boulevard in Lufkin. According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed from the carport area of the complainant's residence a white with green trim Tony Hawk Edition bicycle. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
Burglary 500 Block White Oak Drive
On Wednesday, December 29, 2010, a complainant report to Lufkin Police Department that between 1:40 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 500 block of White Oak Drive in Lufkin. According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced open a window at the rear of the residence and removed from within the residence a Nintendo brand Wii gaming system, a Sony brand PlayStation2 gaming system, and approximately twenty video game discs. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
