Lufkin Panther Pride performing at Cotton Bowl

DALLAS, Texas (KTRE) - Some familiar faces can be seen during the Cotton Bowl's pre-game and half-time shows.

Twenty-five members of the Lufkin High School drill team are rehearsing with hundreds of other girls from several states inside the Cowboys' stadium.

Panther Pride will perform two dance routines Friday night during the pre-game and half-time shows during the Cotton Bowl featuring Texas A&M and LSU.

According to director Johnna Walker, rehearsals started last night and continued throughout the day today.

"Our officers went to officer camp this year and from there they asked us to come to Cotton Bowl," she said. "I thought it would be a great opportunity for our kids and so we came and they've had a great experience."
