House Found Dead Cats Scheduled to be Demolished

The East Texas News has learned that the home in Crockett where dozens of dead cats were found earlier this year is scheduled to be demolished on Friday, August 1.

The Houston County Courier reports that the Patsy Barney Real Estate Agency has awarded a bid for the house to be destroyed. Patsy Barney was the agent that found the house with more than 100 dead cats in April.

The East Texas News confirmed that a Pennington demolition company owned by Bobby Shotwell has been hired to demolish the house. According to the Courier, the demolition team will don Haz-Mat suits and clean the house before they demolish it to the ground. An exact time as not been set.
