POLLOK, TX (KTRE) - POLLOK, Texas (KTRE) - The Angelina County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Lufkin man and Pollok man in connection to a burglary on Tom Hampton Road.
Johnathan Christopher Clopp, 23, of Lufkin, and Tyler Wayne Poindexter, 20, of Pollok, are charged with burglary of a habitation.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, deputies responded to a burglary on Jan. 6, in which a homeowner said his house had been broken into and a 47-inch TV, X-box and games, a laptop computer and a base peddle for a drum set had been stolen.
A neighbor was able to give a description of a vehicle to deputies and authorities traced it back to an acquaintance of the duo, who said he lent them his car. He also said the base peddle was in the car, which Poindexter said he would come back to get.
Clopp and Poindexter were arrested on the burglary charges on Tuesday.
