SFA police investigate armed robbery

BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) - NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - SFA University Police are investigating a Sunday night armed robbery which occurred between Hall 14 and Lumberjack Lodge.

According to police, a man said he was approached by two black males in a gold Toyota Camry in the parking lot between the two buildings. The passenger pulled a handgun and demanded the man's wallet and cell phone. The suspects then left the area going west on East College Street.

The passenger is described as having a dark complexion, around 6-foot-2, with a slender build, gray shirt with a white undershirt, black stocking cap, dark pants and he is in his mid to late 20s. The driver is described as having a medium complexion with short hair and in his early 20s.

Chief Marc Cossich said police are investigating a few leads but have not made any arrests.
