Officials unable to find cause of Tyler Co. fire

TYLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - State fire officials are unable to determine a cause of a fire which killed a 68-year-old man in Tyler County.

Kyle Morris, an arson investigator with the state fire marshal's office, said there was too much fire damage to the house to determine what caused the fire, but does believe it started in he kitchen and garage end of the house.

Howard Lee Jackson died in the fire on Jan. 3. His wife, Martha Fitts Jackson, survived.
