NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - SFA University Police have arrested two men suspected of an armed robbery Sunday night.

Jerry Don Thorn and Demarcus Andre Wade, both 22 and from Nacogdoches, are charged with aggravated robbery.

UPD Chief Marc Cossich said Wade was arrested around 2 p.m. and Thorn was arrested at 3:30 p.m.

Cossich declined to comment on the specifics of the arrests, just saying Nacogdoches Police received an anonymous tip and relayed it to UPD.

"Other charges against them are pending," he said. "So I don't want to get specific about anything right now, but we will have that information later."

According to the department, a man said he was approached by two black males in a gold Toyota Camry in the parking lot between Hall 14 and Lumberjack Lodge. The passenger pulled a handgun and demanded the man's wallet and cell phone. The suspects then left the area going west on East College Street.

Both men have lengthy criminal histories, with burglary and theft convictions.
