Charles, Crawford and Moses receive College Sporting News honors

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Seniors Kenneth Charles and Jeremy Moses, and sophomore Gralyn Crawford have been named 2010 College Sporting News All-America team announced CSN Executive Director Dave Coulson Thursday afternoon.
 
Charles was moved from his interior lineman spot to end prior to the start of the 2010 season, and immediately received preseason All-America hype. Charles backed up the preseason accolades with his performance on the field. A first-team all-conference selection, Charles recorded 65 tackles and led the league in tackles for losses (19.5) and sacks (11.5). Both marks placed among the nation's top 20. Charles also forced four fumbles on the season.
 
Crawford was one of the nation's top return specialist during the 2010 campaign. Crawford finished the year ninth in the country averaging better than 28 yards per return. He also tied for tops in the nation with three kickoffs returned for scores and returned one punt for a touchdown. A multiple recipient of conference and national special teams player of the week awards, Crawford's most outstanding performance came during the second week of the season when he returned a kick and a punt for touchdowns against Albany.
 
Moses helped SFA record the nation's top passing offense each of the past two seasons. The Lumberjacks led the nation averaging better than 360 yards per game, and were ranked among the nation's top six in scoring offense and total offense.



Moses has ranked at or near the top in the country in nearly every statistical category in each of the past three seasons. A 2009 Walter Payton Award finalist, Moses led the nation in completions and passing yards, finished second in total offense and sixth overall in points responsible for.
