NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Constable Office in Precinct 4 arrested a Nacogdoches woman on a methamphetamine charge Thursday morning during a home search on FM 2713.

Cynthia Jolene Cox, 45, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

According to Constable Jason Bridges, the office received information that drug activity was taking place at the residence, which belonged to Randy Cox, who was arrested last year for manufacturing meth, and is serving time in prison on the charge. He is related to Cynthia Cox, Bridges said.

Bridges said deputies received consent to search the residence and found a gram of meth, along with marijuana and components of a meth lab. Several items of a lab were found outside in a burn pile and glass jars inside the residence contained meth residue, drug pipes and other paraphernalia.

Cox was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail Thursday night.
