BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) - NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - A justice of the peace has set bond at $800,000 for two men accused in an armed robbery on the SFA campus Sunday night.

Jerry Don Thorn and Demarcus Andre Wade, both 22 and of Nacogdoches, are charged with aggravated robbery.

According to an arrest affidavit, Wade was driving a gold 2002 Hyundai and approached an SFA student between Hall 14 and Lumberjack Lodge. Wade got out of the car and pointed a handgun at the man and demanded his wallet and cellular phone, according to the affidavit.

The suspects left the scene and purchased gasoline with the credit card stolen from the victim, according to the affidavit, which is some of the evidence police used in making the arrests.

Nacogdoches Police arrested the two on separate occasions Thursday afternoon and let University Police know. UPD officers served the warrants at the Nacogdoches County Jail.
