Lufkin PD investigating possible deadly conduct case

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Lufkin police officers responded to the sound of gun shots Saturday night. Now, an investigation into a possible case of deadly conduct is underway.

According to Corporal Trent Sobolewski with LPD, two groups of individuals got into an altercation at a club or party. Then, one of the groups went to a residence at a trailer park on Broaddus street off of Hopkins.

When the other group followed them, someone inside the trailer fired shots to make the other group leave the premises.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
