(STORM TRACKER WEATHER CENTER): The week has gotten off to a wet start for many of us in Deep East Texas, with more rain expected through mid-morning.
For the second week in a row, we have seen the steady, soaking showers desperately needed to help alleviate the severe to extreme drought still ongoing across the Piney Woods.
The showers still out there this morning will begin to taper off late this morning, as our low pressure center exits into Louisiana, taking the moisture with it.
