ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Lufkin man Thursday morning after he threatened his father with a knife at his job site.

Codero De'Earl Hunt, 22, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Lt. Pete Cooper said the incident is part of an ongoing situation which began after his father fired him from the logging business on Hightower Road. Hunt was told not to return to the site, but Cooper said he was arrested earlier this week for criminal trespass. He bonded out Wednesday morning and returned to the work site, this time with a knife and threatened his father with it, Cooper said.

Deputies responded to the scene and arrested Hunt. He is in the Angelina County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
