CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) – He's only 9-years-old and battling Leukemia.

Corrigan-Camden third grader Travis Bell was diagnosed four days before Christmas and is undergoing treatment.

He's taking back and forth trips to Texas Children's Hospital with his family.

Travis is not alone with family, his school, and the community all rallying with him.

Friday night Corrigan-Camden high school is holding a chili bingo benefit to support the Bell family.

"He's going to be dealing with it for a little while but he's got a really great family, a great support system and our community has gone above and beyond and I've been very pleased with their donations and everything," said organizer Johanna Vickers.

Friday at 6 pm, the high school cafeteria will host a benefit bingo. It's one dollar for a bingo card and five bucks for a bowl of chili.

There's also a cake auction and tons of prizes -- including an I-phone, I-pad, and big screen television.

If you can't make it tomorrow, contact Corrigan-Camden I.S.D to make a donation.
