Man injures pinkie in Monday night Lufkin shooting

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A man was treated for a gunshot wound to the pinkie finger in a shooting on Third Street Monday night.

The Lufkin Police report states the victim told officers that an unidentified suspect dressed in dark clothing and wearing a ski mask-type covering over their face fired a handgun multiple times at him.

Officers were not able to find the suspect and the victim was treated at a Lufkin hospital for a gunshot wound to the pinkie finger of his right hand.

The report did not state the extent of the injury or his current condition.
