Corrigan Begins Training For a Re-peat

Those dreaded two-a-day workouts have begun for several high school programs. Be sure to mark your calendars, the first full slate of high school football kicks off soon.

Let's begin our tour of east texas football with the defending class 2-a division-1 state champion Corrigan Bulldogs.

A lot has changed for Corrigan since that emotional, monumental night in Waco back in December.. Only six starters return from last season's state championship team and running back David Foreman is the lone foreman on the roster.

The most notable change has to be the Dog's new head coach. After nine seasons someone other than Todd York will lead the dogs into battle.

It's not exactly a huge change, Seven Armstrong was a long time assistant on York's staff.

The biggest challenge for Corrigan is defending the crown.
