NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County authorities have arrested two men in connection to an investigation into the theft of 36 guns from a Cushing store.

Lyle Anthony Slaughter, 20, of Nacogdoches, and Teddy Wylie Williams, 32, of Cushing, are charged with credit card abuse and theft of firearm.

Sheriff Thomas Kerss said The Store in Cushing reported the thefts in January. The investigation revealed that Williams, who was employed with the business, stole the guns over a period of time, with Slaughter's help, Kerss said.

Kerss said the investigation also showed they used a business credit card.
