NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches man died Wednesday afternoon from injuries he sustained in a wreck Tuesday morning in Nacogdoches County.
A doctor pronounced Francisco Rios-Vasquez, 23, dead at 4:45 p.m. at a Nacogdoches hospital.
Justin Kyle Butler, 24, of San Augustine, is listed in stable condition with broken bones at a Nacogdoches hospital.
According to the Department of Public Safety report, Rios-Vasquez was driving a 2003 Toyota 4-door eastbound on State Highway 21, just east of Nacogdoches, at 6:20 a.m., when he entered the westbound lane and struck Butler's vehicle, a 2006 Ford pickup.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
