ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County deputies conducted two raids Thursday morning, netting three arrests in connection to drug charges.
Sgt. Allen Hill said the first came behind HEB in Lufkin. Deputies served an arrest warrant for delivery of a controlled substance on James Spencer. Searching the home, seized four grams of methamphetime, 10 grams of crystal meth, two long rifles and a shotgun.
Spencer is serving parole on two aggravated robbery convictions, one each in Nacogdoches and Angelina Counties. He was sentenced to 40 years in 1986 and granted parole in 2000.
They next conducted a search warrant on the 100 block of West Mulberry Street in Huntington and arrested Jason Clint Holtzclaw, 36, of Huntington, and Donna Renae Holtzclaw, 40, of Huntington.
Hill said deputies found finished methamphetamine, as well as components of a meth lab. They will be charged with possession of certain chemicals with intent to manufacture, which will be enhanced to a first-degree felony because their home is located within 1,000 feet of a school zone, Hill said. They will also be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
The Holtzclaws have two children and Child Protective Services was notified to handle their custody, Hill said.
Jason Holtzclaw was arrested in December of 2009 during a drug raid on State Highway 103 East.
