Nacogdoches Police: Jealous ex arrested for kidnapping woman

BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) - NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police have arrested a Nacogdoches man who they believe held a gun to his ex-girlfriend's head and kidnapped her.

Roderick O'Keith Wiley, 32, is charged with aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, police were called to the woman's house on Feb. 7 at 9:48 p.m. The woman told police that Wiley had come to the house and asked to speak to her outside. When she went outside, Wiley pulled a handgun and put it to her head and demanded she get in his car, she said.

The woman said Wiley took her to a nearby park and threatened to shoot her if she did not tell him who she was dating. She said he then took her to a location near her residence and let her out of the vehicle.

Police obtained a warrant for Wiley's arrest the next day. He was booked in the Nacogdoches County Jail on Wednesday, where he is being held on a $20,000 bond.
