Police issue missing person search for Lufkin man

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin Police are asking for the public's help in finding a schizophrenic man last seen in Diboll.

According to a press release, a Diboll Police officer spoke with John Nunley, 51, in the South Meadows subdivision at about 5 p.m. on Feb. 17, before he had been entered as a missing person.

Nunley is described as a black man with dark skin, about 5'5", 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last wearing a green toboggan, camouflage hat, navy blue Dallas Cowboys jacket and black pants.

Nunley suffers from schizophrenia and is known to talk to himself and can come across very aggressive and is not capable of taking care of himself. He usually picks up cans along the highway.
