LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Women turn their lives around everyday at Lufkin's Mosaic Center.

On Wednesday morning, they wanted to put return that positive energy through prayer.

The center is part of the Christian Women's Job Corp, and this event was held in conjunction with the corp's National Day of Prayer.

Graduates, current students and the community joined together on The Mosaic Center's lawn to pray for women in the community, and for the healing of hearts through god's ministry.  The power of prayer is a major principle of the center.

"Being here taught me to love and to be loved, to accept love. I've always been able to give - not accept, and this place really changed my life," said Stephanie Nash, Mosaic Center Graduate.

Graduates of the program enjoy coming back to the center that healed them. They hope their stories of accomplishment through the program encourage current students that success in life is possible.
