(KTRE STORMTRACKER 9 WEATHER CENTER) - Another fast moving storm system will move through the Arklatex later today, providing most of the region with a chance for showers and thunderstorms.
Just like the past few systems, it appears the bulk of the heavy rain and severe weather will stay to the north and east of Lufkin and Nacogdoches. However, we cannot rule out a couple of isolated strong storms later this afternoon as a dryline and cold front move into the Piney Woods of East Texas.
To keep track of today's showers and threatening storms, you can view our StormTracker live streaming radar all day long while you are at home or at work. You can also view our Interactive Radar where you can take the controls and zoom all the way down to the local streets, so you can track the rain where you live.
If you encounter any heavy rain today or see thunderstorms in your area, please submit your photos by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to see them.
