NACOGDOCHES, Texas — When the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack basketball team squares off with Sam Houston State Wednesday in Johnson Coliseum, fans can take advantage of numerous promotional opportunities. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
With the game designated as SFA's annual Purple Out contest, any fan wearing purple will be admitted free of charge. Additionally, the first 1,500 fans in the doors will receive a free Purple Out T-shirt, courtesy of the SFA Student Activities Association.
At halftime, there will be a $500 cash scramble, and the SFA student group with the most members in attendance will win a Show for Dough cash prize that has been doubled to $200. Additionally, SFA students will earn double Jack Team Rewards points for attendance.
There will also be SFA Athletics gear given away. Fans showing the most school spirit in their gameday attire will be eligible to have their photo taken and uploaded to the SFA Athletics Facebook page as part of the Ultimate Fan Challenge.
Wednesday's game also marks senior night for SFA's four senior players. Eddie Williams, Denzel Barnes, Jordan Glynn and Mark Gomillia will be honored in a brief ceremony before pregame introductions.
