BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) - NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police arrested two Louisiana men Thursday during a routine check through the bus station on Northwest Stallings Drive.
Danny Evans, 23, is charged with a first-degree felony of possession of a controlled substance and a second-degree felony of the same charge. Robert Lee Hunter, 43, is charged with a first-degree felony of the same charge.
According to a police report officers observed the pair acting suspiciously and arrested them on unrelated drug charges.
Hunter is accused of carrying approximately 1.2 pounds of suspected cocaine and Evans is accused of carrying Xanax and hydrocodone.
There is nothing to indicate the incidents are related, according to the report.
