BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) -

Death investigation, 400 block of Sadler Street: Officer responded on medical assist call. Upon arrival resident was found to be deceased. Investigation was conducted and report written.

Theft, 600 block of Muckleroy Street: Comp states an unk subj took a firearm from a toolbox located in the back of a junk vehicle which is parked in his back yard. Comp believes his son is the suspect and he does not wish to press charges on him.

Possession of controlled substance, 2700 block of S. Fredonia Street: On 031411 officer contacted a known wm as the driver of a vehicle stopped for speeding. Officer conducted a search of the vehicle after detecting the odor of burnt marijuana. Officer located 1.4 gms of suspect methamphetamine. The driver was subsequently arrested for two outstanding warrants and a warrant request for pocs is pending lab results on the substance.

Found property, 4000 block of Colonial Drive: The complainant advised that she found a sfa class ring on her sidewalk.

DUI, 1400 block of S. University Drive: Subject was contacted in reference to a traffic accident and found to be driving while intoxicated. Subject was arrested.

Missing person, 3500 block of North Street: The complainant stated that she had not seen her husband in over a day.
