LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – An Angelina County judge has reduced Telesforo Vasquez's bond from $75,000 to $55,000. The former nursing home worker was charged and indicted for attempted sex assault and injury to the elderly.

According to Assistant District Attorney, Art Bauereiss, the law requires a bond reduction to cases that take more than 90 days to indict.  He was indicted in early March, but Vasquez has been in jail since early December.
