Lufkin 19 year-old killed in early morning wreck

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – A Lufkin man was killed early Sunday morning after a wreck early Sunday morning.

DPS Trooper Joshua Senn responded to the accident at 3:20 a.m.  According to the report, Sean Christopher Simoneaux, 19, was driving a Mitsubishi Eclipse northbound on f.m. 842, four miles north of Lufkin.  His car left the roadway, striking a tree.

He was not wearing a seatbelt.  Justice of the Peace 4 Claude Marshall declared Simoneaux deceased at 5:16 a.m. Sunday at Lufkin Memorial Hospital.
