03-22-2011     Assault            500 Block Pecan Avenue

At approximately 10:45 PM on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, Lufkin Police Department officers responded to a reported in-progress disturbance outside of a residence located in the 500 block of Pecan Avenue in Lufkin.  According to the report, the officers arrived and learned that the disturbance was no longer in progress and that one party to the disturbance had fled the area by vehicle.  According to the report, two males argued and fought outside of the residence and during the altercation the male that remained at the residence used a bottle to strike the male that fled the area and then the male that fled used a "bed rail" to strike the head of the bottle-wielding male.  The report stated that Lufkin Fire Department personnel responded to the residence and treated the injury to the male's head but the male refused to receive treatment at a medical facility.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

03-22-2011     Assault            1700 Block West Frank Avenue

On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department from the Emergency Room lobby at Memorial Hospital in Lufkin that a known suspect and an unidentified suspect assaulted the complainant in the employee parking area at Pilgrims Pride, located in the 1700 block of West Frank Avenue in Lufkin.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he and the known male suspect have previously had problems and that while he fought this date with the male suspect the unidentified female suspect used a dog lease-type chain to strike his head, causing lacerations to his head.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the female suspect also used the chain to damage the windows of the complainant's vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

03-22-2011     Arrest             1900 Block Hill Street

At approximately 8:00 AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, Lufkin Police Department officers arrested Ashley Dunn (Black / Female / 26 / Lufkin) and Tarneshia Robinson (Black / Female / 34 / Lufkin) outside of a residence located in the 1900 block of Hill Street in Lufkin.  According to the arrest report, Lufkin Police Department officers responded to the 1900 block of Hill Street in reference to a reported in-progress disturbance and found Ashley Dunn and Tarneshia Robinson arguing in the driveway of a residence.  The report stated that Ashley Dunn and Tarneshia Robinson live together and are involved in a dating relationship.  The officers determined that during a physical disturbance, Tarneshia Robinson assaulted Ashley Dunn and that Ashley Dunn used a knife to "poke" Tarneshia Robinson's stomach.  The reporting officer did not observe physical injury to Ms. Robinson caused by the knife but Ms. Robinson had recently undergone a surgical procedure and, at her request, was transported to Woodland Heights Hospital where she was evaluated but not admitted.  Tarneshia Robinson was booked into Angelina County Jail for the offense of Assault (Family Violence), a Class A Misdemeanor, and thirteen Capias Pro Fine warrants held by Lufkin Municipal Court.  Ashley Dunn was booked into Angelina County for the offense of Aggravated Assault (Family Violence), a Second Degree Felony offense, and for an outstanding arrest warrant from Walker County, Texas.
