Doubleheader Scheduled for 3 p.m. at Roadrunner Complex

The Angelina College Lady Roadrunners, fresh off a pair of series road sweeps over Coastal Bend and Lamar-Port Arthur, will face their biggest challenge of the season Friday afternoon at Roadrunner Complex on the AC campus.

The Lady 'Runners enter Fridays series with San Jacinto with a record of 20-14, 4-0, having won five of their past six games. The three-armed pitching rotation of Kristen Curlin, Kayla Bryan and Brittney Smith, combined with solid defense and timely hitting throughout the lineup, has AC off to a quick start in the Region XIV standings.

San Jacinto's Lady Coyotes, at 21-11 and 2-0, feature a pair of outstanding freshmen pitchers in Alexis Estrada and Shannon Millman.
