Brandon Belt blasts first major league home run

(KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet standout Brandon Belt unloaded his first home run as a major leaguer.  He belted a three run home run to center field off of Dodgers pitcher Chad Billingsley in the 4th inning Friday night in Los Angeles.  Belt, made his first career start Thursday night in the season opener going 1 for 3 with a walk.  He is currently batting in the seven spot in the San Francisco Giants lineup who are the defending world series champs beating the Texas Rangers last year in the World Series.
