Artist Jennifer Moreman says she's "never thought of painting a cow brown" because she "sees the world through colored glasses." When Moreman paints cattle there's no doubt what they are, but close inspection shows the many colors she uses to get the effect she's known for.

As Director of Development for the Tyler ISD, Moreman has to do most of her painting at night. While peacocks, landscapes;, and flowers often appear in her paintings, this Baylor University grad had to step out of her comfort zone to create work that is in widespread demand.

Moreman's husband, a graduate of UT, asked her to paint him a longhorn, and her distinct style of longhorn with its watered down acrylics, has become an instant success. Her longhorn paintings now reside throughout the world.

Moreman's paintings are on display at the Salado Winery through April 15th.
