Coach, instructor and her husband found dead

(AP) - The head football coach at George Ranch High School, a female educator and her estranged husband were all found shot to death at a Rosenberg hotel.

Police were investigating. They declined to discuss motives but said they don't suspect anyone else was involved. The three were found shortly before 5 p.m. Friday at the Regency Inn.

The Houston Chronicle identified the dead as 39-year-old Trevor L. White of Katy, head football coach and athletic coordinator at the school; and Destiny A. Pickett, 39, of Richmond, an instructional coordinator.  Trevor White is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University and formerly coached in Garrison.

Her estranged husband Clifford Pickett, 50, also was found at the scene along with a handgun. Court documents show Pickett filed for divorce Feb. 8 and sought a temporary restraining order against her husband.
