Nacogdoches PD arrest mom for allegedly allowing minors to drink at her home

BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) - (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police arrested Susan Rhodes on Monday for furnishing alcohol to a minor.  That's after video surfaced of teens drinking at her home.

According to the arrest affidavit, NPD came into possession of Rhodes' 16 year-old son's Iphone just over a year ago.  On it, were videos of a party that occurred back in October 2009.  Several minors were depicted drinking at Rhodes' home on the 3800 block of Red Oak.

In December, a detective interviewed Rhodes, who they say allegedly admitted to allowing the minors to drink, and said some of the alcohol they were drinking belonged to her.  The detective also spoke with some of the minors at the party.  They, allegedly, also say they were drinking alcoholic beverages while Rhodes was in the home.
