(KTRE) – The help wanted sign is going up at the Angelina County Chamber of Commerce after the resignation of Chamber VP Tony Moline.

Moline is headed north to the Dallas-area where he has accepted a position as the new President/CEO of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce near DFW Airport.

"Tony has been an exceptional employee for the Chamber, always learning, always accepting new roles  and obviously has been a great asset to the Chamber's operations (and that of Angelina Beautiful/Clean) during his tenure with us," Jerry Huffman, Chamber President/CEO said in a written statement.

Moline's last official day in Lufkin will be April 29th.  "We have a great team of dedicated employees and each will step forward to assure we take care of business," Huffman stated.  Huffman went on to state Moline's resignation is a bittersweet moment for the Chamber staff.  "All of us wish him the best as he makes a giant step up his career ladder.  He is ready and capable."

Huffman, along with the Chairman, Chairman-elect, and the Executive Committee will begin immediately discussing over transitional and future staffing operations.
