NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches woman caught twice driving drunk with a child passenger avoided a prison sentence Thursday afternoon.
Candice Yarbrough Richardson, 26, pleaded guilty in District Judge Ed Klein's court to two counts of DWI with a child passenger.
As part of the plea, Richardson agreed to serve two five-year sentences of probation, pay $2,000 in fines, serve 350 hours of community service and to attend a rehabilitation program.
Richardson was last arrested in January when an officer conducted a traffic stop with Richardson on the 10000 block of East Main Street and determined she was too intoxicated to drive. Her three-year-old daughter was in the back seat of the vehicle.
