EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - Your Monday morning could get off to a stormy start, courtesy of a fast moving cold front.
While most of the energy and lift with the front will remain well to our north, we cannot rule out a few showers and storms from developing and moving into the Piney Woods as you head off to work or school.
There is a slight risk of severe weather this morning. That means any storm that forms could contain very small hail, along with gusty winds.
The threat for any rain and thunder will end by the mid-morning hours as the front and moisture shift further off to the east and out of East Texas.
We have the tools you need to stay on top of the latest weather developments this morning. You can track the rain and storms by visiting our StormTracker Radar and Satellite Center. You can also use our Interactive Radar view so that you can take the controls and zoom down to your street and track the storms where you live.
