Johnny Depp scores another No. 1 hit with 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'

Los Angeles-AP -- After years of languishing in mildly successful films, Johnny Depp now appears to have the Midas touch at the box office.

He has two films this weekend in the top five.His new movie "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" debuted in first place at the weekend box office with an estimated 24 (m) million dollars.Depp's summertime hit "Pirates of the Caribbean" is still performing strongly in its tenth week in theaters coming in at number five. It's the second highest-grossing movie of the year, behind "Finding Nemo."Nicolas Cage's new movie "Matchstick Men" opened in second place with an estimated 13 (m) million dollars. The horror film "Cabin Fever" debuted in third place. Last weekend's number one movie, "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star" fell to fourth place.
