ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Angelina County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Lufkin man accused of molesting a 10-year-old girl on at least two occasions earlier this month.

Donald Miller Ball, 35, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim told an investigator that Ball was staying the night at a friend's residence. Sometime during the night, the victim said Ball came into her bedroom and touched her inappropriately at least twice.

A friend of the victim told counselors at Harold's House said she witnessed Ball climb into the bed and she witnessed the victim trying to scoot closer to her.

Lt. Pete Cooper said the sheriff's office contacted Ball on Tuesday for an interview and they arrested him following the interview.

Cooper confirmed Ball is the son of Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Billy Ball. Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace Bradley Stringer signed the warrant for Ball's arrest on Tuesday.
