Gift of Love: Torian

Posted: Updated:

Currently together in foster care, hoping to find a forever family is Torian, Tiesha, Tayuna and Jaleah. Torian is the oldest and the only boy in the family.

Torian is quick to let you know that his friends call him "T" for short. He gets along well with his sisters, but does wish for a brother also.

He loves playing outdoors and loves to play sports with neighborhood friends.

Torian is 9-years-old and in the second grade. He attended summer school and is doing much better this school year. Although he receives speech therapy and has some classroom modifications, he loves school.

When he grows up, he hopes to be a professional athlete or a movie star. If that doesn't work out for him, he would like to work for the city in recycling.

His favorite food is pizza and his favorite colors are blue, green and red.

His past reality hits home when it comes to the type of family Torian wants for his three sisters and himself.

When asked what type of family he would like, Torian responded, "Ones that don't do drugs and steal and don't treat us bad."

If you'd like to know more about Torian you can call our Gift of Love hotline, toll-free, 1-888-kids-275.
