Nacogdoches man accused of kidnapping, beating ex

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches Police arrested a man accused of breaking the back windshield of his ex-girlfriend's car before kidnapping and beating her.

Tremaine Denard Baxter, 26, of Nacogdoches is charged with kidnapping, assault and criminal mischief.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to West Cox Street at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. The report states Baxter broke out the rear windshield, then forced his ex into this vehicle. Baxter left the residence with her but let her go several blocks away, but not before hitting her in the face.

Police managed to locate Baxter and arrest him.
