Nationwide search for suspect in Southwest Plaza Mall attempted bombing

(News Release) - The FBI Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), in conjunction with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), is releasing photographs of suspect Earl Albert Moore, 65 years of age, white male, approximately 200 – 225 lbs, 6'0" - 6'2" in height, bald, blue eyes, with a grey mustache, last seen wearing glasses, and has multiple tattoos.

Moore is wanted in connection for the attempted placing of a destructive device in the incident that occurred at the Southwest Plaza Mall on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado.

Moore is considered armed and dangerous and has an extensive criminal background. The public is urged to call 911 if they know the whereabouts of Moore or the Jeffco Tip Line at 303-271-5615 to provide any information.

While law enforcement efforts are still underway in the Denver metropolitan area to locate Moore, the FBI is now conducting a nationwide manhunt for this individual. We are requesting the media's assistance in distributing this information nationally.
