A ***TORNADO WATCH*** is in effect until 10pm this evening for Angelina, Cherokee, Houston, Nacogdoches, Polk, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, and Trinity counties.
Strong to severe thunderstorms will continue moving to the northeast, possibly affecting some of our counties in Deep East Texas later this afternoon and this evening. Any storms that develop or move into East Texas this afternoon will have the potential to produce large hail, damaging winds, and even an isolated tornado. Remember, a watch means conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and near the watch area.
Please submit any weather reports of hail, winds, or rain to firstname.lastname@example.org.
