A Lufkin man who broke into an audio store in February will enter a drug rehabilitation program after pleading guilty Thursday afternoon.

Anthony Odell Banks, 40, will also serve a 10-year probated sentence. He will remain in jail until he enters the drug program.

According to a previous report, Lufkin Police officers responded to a burglar alarm at 4 a.m. at Extreme Audio, located at 508 Timberland Drive.

When they arrived, officers found someone had forcibly entered the building by removing a board in place over a window opening. One officer found Banks running away from the area, according to the report. Banks ran for several blocks and tried to hide in a doorway of a business, but police found and arrested him, according to the report.
