ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies have uncovered what they are calling one of the largest meth busts in the agency's history in a raid they conducted Tuesday morning just north of Huntington.
Sgt. Allen Hill said they found the lab hidden in a warehouse on FM 1669, about two miles north of Huntington.
The sheriff's office tracked down, and arrested Donald Lee Brooks, 47, around noon at another location. According to Hill, Brooks will be charged for several counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of certain chemicals with intent to manufacture, and possession of a controlled substance.
The sheriff's office also confiscated a Corvette and Chevy Camaro in the raid. Hill said they believe the cars were used to deliver meth.
Hill estimates they found between 100 and 150 grams of finished meth in the raid.
