Anderson County Sheriff's officials say two friends were fighting Monday night in the 2000 block of CR 182, just south of Elkhart.

He died at the hospital.

49-year-old Charles Carroll was flown to a Tyler hospital for stab wounds to the head.

He was released from the hospital yesterday.

Right now, authorities say they're trying to figure out who started the fight.
