Mavs headed to OKC to play Thunder for game 3 NBA Western Conference finals

DALLAS (AP) - The Thunder beat the Mavericks 106-100 last night in Dallas to level the NBA Western Conference finals at 1-1.

The Oklahoma City Thunder kept Dirk Nowitzki somewhat in check and got a huge effort from their bench in their 106-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks to square the NBA Western Conference finals at a game apiece. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 24. James Harden was huge off the bench, scoring 10 of his 23 in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City's bench outscored the Dallas reserves 50-29. The Mavs rode a 48-point performance by Nowitzki to victory in Game 1. Nowitzki led the Mavs with 29 in this one, but no other Mav had more than 15.

Game 3 of the best of seven is Saturday night as the series shifts to Oklahoma City.
