NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Commissioners Court has lifted its burn ban effective immediately for Nacogdoches County, Texas.
This order rescinds prohibition of all outdoor burning within Nacogdoches County. Commissioners said they will revisit their decision in a couple of weeks as they continue to monitor conditions during this drought period.

Fire officials remind us there are unprecedented drought conditions across the state, combined with low humidity and high winds, create a perfect storm for wildfires that can spread at a rapid pace, placing lives and property in harm's way.
