EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - Right now a big rig full of relief is on it's way from East Texas to Joplin, Missouri.
Bible college students from the Lufkin United Pentecostal Church helped pack an 18-wheeler full of supplies, including water, toiletries, and non-perishables.
Several trucks also showed up from Vidor, Texas this afternoon to help fill the 53-foot trailer.
The group says they were thrilled to necessitate a miracle in motion.
Individuals wanted to go to Joplin themselves, but they're thankful they could help send relief there.
"There's one word and that's hope. Certainly, we don't focus on material things, however, that's an attachment and a connection and there is a divine hope and that is that the Lord Jesus Christ knows exactly where each and every one of us are," said Carl McLaughlin, President of Winning Men of Texas.
The donations should arrive tonight and will be distributed tomorrow morning.
